Dunescape

When undertaking fieldwork in northwest Ireland, it's not unusual to experience some challenging weather. But you also get to see the spells between storms, and when surrounded by the wild coastal dunes, those moments can be very special. Here, we are sampling and surveying temporary ponds at Maghera, west Donegal.
