First Step To Tanning

In order for fish skin to be turned into leather that is workable it should first be frozen so that the water molecules in the skin expand. Salmon Skin, Dover Sole and Brill can be seen in this frozen block of Skins from Billingsgate Fish Market, frozen in a sealable bag.
