The lines in white are rotated plots of lateral trunk movement profiles of a sample of people with chronic pain in the lower back during a sit-to-stand where they felt confident of their ability to complete it despite pain. We analyse movement profiles to understand the feasibility of automatic monitoring of pain-related affect, such as movement confidence, from body movement cues to enable technology-based chronic pain physical rehabilitation support.
